2:00 - 3:00PM EST
On February 12 at 2:00 pm EST, the MCC Immigration Network will host a webinar for individuals and congregations who want to learn how they can support immigrants in their congregations and communities. How can we, in this moment, offer hospitality and love to our immigrant neighbors? Newly elected President Trump and his administration have promised to conduct mass deportations. How should Christians react to increased immigration enforcement, family separation, and racial discrimination?
Join us to learn from the expertise of Saulo Padilla, MCC U.S. Migration Education Coordinator, and Rachel Diaz, Immigration Attorney with MCC East Coast. They will highlight what legal rights immigrants have, and what they can do to prepare for the possibility of detention or deportation. The webinar will be centered on the ways all of us can support those at risk of being uprooted. Presenters will share resources and opportunities to become more deeply involved in the work of welcome.
