Fundraising Focus: Fighting Hunger in Chad
Proceeds raised will go toward a three-year project (began in 2023) to strengthen farm communities in five areas of Moundou, Chad. With your support, local partner groups will offer guidance and assistance to help people farm sustainably, diversify income, attain food sufficiency, protect the environment, and better connect with local markets.
Location: Based at Mennonite Village, Albany, OR, in the Pavillon. Morning and evening meals will take place here. Bikers tenting will be set up in the yard around the Pavillon and have access to restrooms and electricity; Mennonite village has many areas to park RVs/Campers for dry camping.
Routes: Developing four days of loop rides in the surrounding Willamette Valley. Each day will have a short and long ride option to accommodate cyclists of all abilities, with a common lunch spot. A sag vehicle and bike mechanic will be available.
