Event Details: 

• Guided Cultural Tour: Discover the stories behind the archaeological pithouse, one of the oldest dwellings in Canada dating back 6,000 years, and the legendary Transformer stone known as X̲áːytem Rock. 
   
• Historical Significance: Hear about the significance of X̲áːytem in Sto:lo cultures, including its role as a site of spiritual and historical importance. 
   
• Longhouse Interpretive Centre: Take a stroll through the Longhouse Interpretive Centre and carving shed, where traditional craftsmanship and cultural artifacts are showcased. 
   
• Evening of Learning: Immerse yourself in the oral histories and traditions of the Sto:lo peoples, including the captivating tale of the Xe:xals, the Transformers, and the enduring legacy of the chiefs at X̲áːytem. 
   
• Handmade Bannock: Indulge in a beloved staple of Indigenous cuisine, offered at the event.
