MCC Bike Michiana

Join other bicycle enthusiasts of all skill levels for an enjoyable experience of pedaling the beautiful lake and farmland region of southern Michigan and northern Indiana. You will be supporting the mission and service of Mennonite Central Committee (MCC). Terrain is rolling and flat. Fellowship and worship included.

Bike Michiana Project: Water for the Future in Bolivia
For families in the area of Potosí, Bolivia, water shortages are a very real threat. MCC is working to pipe spring water from the mountains for household use and irrigation. Gifts to MCC will also support local conservation efforts like tree planting. Investing in this community helps to protect water sources and land, while reducing the need for people to migrate. Protecting areas at high altitude above natural springs also helps to ensure that communities have sufficient water.

Cost 
The fee for the weekend is $150 per adult. This includes cabin lodging, maps, SAG, T-shirt and meals Sat-Sun. Friday supper is available for an additional $15. Registration fees cover Amigo Centre's cost of coordinating and hosting the event. Riders are encouraged to collect donations to support MCC's 'Water for the Future' project in Bolivia. Donation checks should be made out to MCC with Bike Michiana in the memo line.

Accommodations 
Lodging will be in the cozy cabins of Amigo Centre with bicycle storage in the pavilion. Lodging may be upgraded for the weekend to the Retreat Center for an additional fee.

What to Bring 
Bedding for bunk beds, towels, toiletries, clothing, bicycles, extra tubes, water bottles, helmets (mandatory) and the balance due, plus additional donations. Linens provided with Retreat Center upgrade only. Pillows and blankets, as well as sheets and towels, are not included at cabins. A linen package may be purchased for $25 per person.
